Our Story

Why We Exist?

Tees That Care was born from one simple realisation: "The people who look after us deserve looking after too!".

A Personal Note:

The idea came from when my mum became ill with Alzheimer’s. My dad was her rock, and even with other family members doing everything they could to help, the carers and community nurses were the lifeline he needed. Watching their dedication, kindness, and resilience from afar - while my wife and I were living abroad, made us realise just how much healthcare professionals give every single day. My mum passed away at home with family around her in December 2024. It happened so quickly, that we were not able to make it back to the UK in time to be with her at the end. We knew then however that we needed a way to say thank you to the carers and other healthcare professionals that made my mums life as comfortable as it could possibly be. We wanted to give back more than just words. A thank you, just didn't seem enough, so "Tees That Care" was born.

Our Mission:

We make premium apparel for the UK’s healthcare family. From the "gallows humour" that gets you through night shifts to the quiet pride of carers in the community, our designs celebrate the real frontline experience.

Giving Back:

We don’t just talk about care, we fund it. That’s why we personally set aside £1 from every single shirt you buy. Once the pot hits our milestone, it goes straight to the Laura Hyde Foundation, providing mental health support to healthcare and emergency staff. Your purchase helps ensure that those who spend their lives caring for others have someone looking out for them, too.
